Puteh Consulting Sdn. Bhd (PCSB) is a homegrown Malaysian company, which was incorporated in 2006. The company is founded by En. Muhammad bin Haji Abu Bakar.

PCSB consists of a team of highly qualified consultants who facilitate learning sessions based on their own successful experiences in both their career and various completed assignments, in addition to their strong academic background. This gives credibility to the message delivered and ensures acceptance to the ideas shared. It also ensure PCSB's stringent standars are met and clients satisfaction are guaranteed.

PCSB works in partnership with internal training departments to ensure that each program being delivered are intensive and informative with relevance to organizational vision/mission and values. PSCB has worked extensively with clients from various sectors i.e. government & private sector and non-governmental organizations (NGOs)

PRINCIPAL CONSULTANTS

Y.M. Dato' Engku Hashim Al-Edrus bin Engku Pengiran Anum gaduated from Brighton Technical College, UK, with a Diploma in Engineering, followed by Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (B.Sc Hons) from Loughborough University of Technology, UK and later MBA in General Business from Ohio University, Athens, USA. Y.M. Dato' Engku Hashim started working with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (the then Lembaga Letrik Negara) in 1977.

He was formerly TNB's Vice President of Human Resource and retired as the Vice President of TNB Distribution. Y.M. Dato' Engku Hashim was previously Chairman of CIRED Malaysia (2002-2004). He was also a member of Energy Commission Malaysia. His area of specialization includes Strategic Management, Performance Management and Talent Management. Y.M. Dato' Engku Hashim is currently the Executive Chairman of KLS Energy Sdn. Bhd. and the Principal Consultant of Puteh Consulting Sdn.Bhd.

En.Muhammad bin Hj.Abu Bakar holds a General National Vocational Qualification (GNVQ) Advace in Business with Distinction Award from British Technical Educational Council, UK and Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA Hons) from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). He was previously leading the secretariat for the Society for Organizational Learning (SoL), Malaysia Chapter.

SoL is a non-profit organization composed of organizations and inndividuals around the world which focus on the discovery and implementation of organizational learning theory, tools and methodologies in support of learning and change in organizations.

En. Muhammad has been working extensively with organizations operating in various industries from both the public and private sector, focusing primarily on mindset and paradigm shift and team behavioral improvements. He is currently the Managing Director of Puteh Consulting Sdn. Bhd.

    BEHIND THE NAME 'PUTEH'

    Puteh Consulting Sdn.Bhd. is named in honor of Allahyarhamah Puan Sri Datin (Dr) Puteh Mariah binti Ibrahim Rashid. Puan Sri Puteh Mariah was born on December 28, 1917 in Kuala Kangsar, Perak Darul Ridzuan. She is of mixed Arab, Sri Lankan and Malay ancestry. She had a gift of interracial parents, so she had lived her remarkable life respecting and appreciating the positive aspects of different cultures.
    Puan Sri Puteh Mariah was the founder of 'Jabatan Kaum Ibu UMNO' (UMNO Women Wing) and the first woman who being appointed as a member of Perak Legislative Council and Perak Justice of Peace. In 1957, she became the first Malaysian to be appointed as the Head of Pergerakan Pandu Puteri. She was married to Allahyarham Tan Sri Dato' Zainal Abidin Abas, who was the Secretary General of UMNO and the second chairman of RIDA (now known as Majlis Amanah Rakyat or MARA)
    Puan Sri Puteh Mariah died on February 26, 2006 at the age of 89.
